Dear Family,
Danmark is quite the bustling place. I've seen just about everything in the week i've been here. All sorts of peoples and cultures. Lots of problems, lots of order. Danish government really cares for its people. They are well taken care of when it comes to medical purposes and support family-wise. But they are still "without". Really sad actually is the fact that they just blatantly reject the Savior. When we contakt on the street, people are more than willing to stop and listen until we say "Kristus." "Nej, Tak" (no thanks) immediately follows. I don't really understand that, but there are also a lot that love Christ and just want to talk about him when we visit. It's really neat...I love it. My comp and i have a baptism scheduled for the 19th of april and we're trying to get a few more people to jump on that date. I hope they do...
Skive is a really awesome area. There are only 7 members in Skive but the ward has like 20 and they are pretty strong.
My english fails at times so please forgive me, but Danish is going swell!! I love the Danish culture--they are such a funny people!! Dang!! I'm coming back i hope...someday.
My companion/trainer is really awesome! He is helt funny and is always on the ball! I have a lot to learn from him. He teases a lot, but i have a whole mass more of teasing in my holster. I cook dinner a lot though cause he just wants to eat potatoes and stuff. I must say i've got the touch when it comes to the oven.
Have any of you ever committed someone to get married? Well i have. It was really ackward, but way fun. These pair of investigators live all the commandments and laws already they just aren't married--it's kind of a requirement if you're living together and want to get baptized...ha!
The weather is really weird over here. It will be very sunny outside and raining and freezing at the same time. I mean your face will burn from the cold rain and the sun will burn your body inside-out. I'm trying to take a lot of pictures to send home and about because it's just plain gorgeous over here in some places. Lilies and roses pop up in the middle of peoples lawns. I love it.
If you can't speak the language here, they won't baby you like we do in America if you can't speak english. In the part i'm in they speak a really strange form of Danish. It's like the backcountry form of english. "that there book", "this here potato" , it's totally hilarious!!!!!
Love all of you soo much. I'm sure "en holde Kartoffel fordi Victoria er min Kærest!"

PS: By the way. No Dane has been able to say my name correctly. Only those from the Congo or Ughanda can do it. And we have a lot of Africans that we teach too! They're the best and most receptive.
