help!

Okay, I'm late again doing the updates for the Blog. pffft. Sorrrrry!

Tell you what, I think I'm missing some info. If anyone knows of birthdays that aren't entered in the "special events" spot, send me a note or something so I can put them in my reminders. It just feels like there is something missing for November!!!

Ran Across This

I know most of you have noticed the sign that says "Woodland Road" while going from Idaho to Utah near Malad. I've always wondered where it went. A little while ago I was visiting a rancher out that way and afterwards decided to satisfy my curiosity. Here are some pictures of what I saw. Interestingly, in the "Woodland Cemetery" that picture is of the only Woodland, in the entire place. Anyhow - thought your guys might like to see these.

Love you all -

Update on the Twinners!

Okay, I know most of you are on Facebook and I update a lot on there!! But, some of you are not and so I figured I would let you know whats going on. Went to my doctors appointment Wednesday and the babies are doing awesome! There is only a 13% weight difference between them which is better than the last time we checked which was 15%. They don't start to worry about this difference till it gets over 20%. They are both little stinkers at the moment... Parker is sideways and Paislee is head up. I had the doctor measure my belly just to see what I was measuring at IF I was only having one and can you believe my belly is measuring 42 weeks!! No wonder I am super uncomfortable. I cant remember what their lengths are, but Paislee is measuring right on track and Parker is measuring just one day ahead.
I was super excited when she switched the ultrasound want to the 3-D one. Which if you have had a 3-D ultrasound, they are quite pricey! Anyways, she said they were in prefect position so she snapped two photos real quick!! Paislee's isn't the best cause she was being a little princess and was napping and would not wake up for anyone. Parker's is really good, I was super happy cause he never cooperates with the ultrasounds! Enough of the rambling! Just one more thing.. Obviously my due date isnt for another 12 weeks. The doctor said if I have not gone into labor by myself in 8 weeks, they will induce me at EIRMC. Cant wait for these little ones to show their faces! Buerklie is really ecxited for them to come and Hannah... well she loves babies but she is a big mommies girl and I think she might get a little jealous!!

Kaden playing goalie

Libby's workin hard to keep that ball outta there!

Libby; running with the 'bulls'
Soccer games last Saturday was a 'kick'! It was a beautiful day; sunny and warm and we had a great time. Both Kaden and Libby were brave troopers; they had flu shots just before their games.

updates

Hi all,

'Don't know if everyone is aware of Sean's news these days, but he is well and sends his love to all. He is currently serving in Vilnius, Lithuania as a trainer and is loving his time there. He is coming up on 'Hump Day', October 17th and says that this first year has really flown by.

Also, some of you keep calling me to try to reach Nate. He lives with Grampa and Gramma Woodland. So if you want to reach him, call him there -- or use his cell number to text him.

Over the river and through the woods...

We took several days and traveled to Glacier National Park over Labor Day weekend. Sorry we weren't there for parade day but it was worth it. It was phenomenal, fabulous, breathtaking, and a blast...and pictures just don't do it justice but here are a few...

Day 1 - Heading to Salmon and on to Missoula for the night.

Day 2 - On to Glacier National Park. Take the Road To The Sun to Logan Pass.

We're going where???

Now I know why they call it "Road To The Sun".

After a cold, long, late night ride and much needed help from Amanda, we finally found the last room in Missoula at 11pm because there wasn't a single vacancy in Kalispell. Who knew...Labor Day weekend and we were living on the edge w/o reservations.

Day 3 - Over Lolo Pass on the Lochsa River. Beautiful, cold, and wet and oh, did I mention...COLD.

Follow the Salmon River heading to Riggins...

From Riggins we went to McCall for the night and a hot meal at The Mill. Excellent Prime Rib!!!

Day 4 - From McCall we rode through Stanley, passing the Sawtooth Mts, into Ketchum, Craters of the Moon, and home. There weren't many pics that turned out on Day 4. I must have been getting tired. Ya think? Home sweet home after 1500 milles, but ahhh...memories :)

Hey all - it's been a busy summer. There's been lots of painting and some demolition. 2 of the 3 wooden graneries on the Rich Place are coming down. All that's left of the one is the floor joists and foundation. We are going to tear into the other one this coming weekend (anyone who wants to join in is invited). I thought you all might like to see what mom does in her spare time (with help from Nate B.). She's quite the budding artist.
Hope summer has treated you all right. Love you all heaps.

for the long holiday weekend

To the artists featured here:
I hope you don't mind me sharing your artwork with the rest of your family. The love expressed
will be seen by everyone.
The artists should recognize their work....I hope they do. I always have room for more and will add them to my treasure chest.
Many years have passed since they were drawn, so I hope that anybody recognizing your work will tell you it is yours. I'm so lucky to have these sent to me from each of you. Thanks again.

Many of you might recognize this one displayed in my kitchen.

everything was simpler then

Calvin and I sat down to figure out this posting stuff when he and Doug stopped by during their vacation. We both had problems previously posting and had since given it up...too complicated. My problem was my dial-up and then Calvin realized that the log-on username was the email address woodlandfamatgmaildotcom, not spelled-out of course. Charlene's had emailed blog instructions long ago but I tend to need more individualized instruction; hand-holding. That email has since been forwarded to others since it is very helpful and has all the pertinent information.

Another one of my blog hesitations is sharing personals. Like this one. It is important to me. but nieces and nephews and the other half of sibling relationships need see/share our family history.

So, if nobody objects, my plans for the future are to post family photos that are important to me; Wesley W. with his baby bottle, Lani and Jer when they lived in Blackfoot, Nate naked in his baby tub, Melissa on the 4-wheeler, and many many more of everyone. So, speak now if you have fears of personal candid photos.

8-1-10

Hello everyone

This week has been a normal and maybe there just normal to me haha. Yesterday we went to a members house and she has been inactive for a while and her husband is a pastor for the born again christian church here. He has been a member for the Iglesia ni cristo, baptist, Ang Simbahan ni Jesucristo ng mga Banal sa mga Huling Araw which is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He has attended our ward and he said he like it and he read some of the Bible but he said that there are somethings missing from the Bible. Anyways he preached to us alittle and when we started talking he said oh sorry I have to go hahaha. Typical for the Philippines haha. We didn't have any baptisms. We had to change there dates due to some problems. Maybe we will have some this month. Anyways we had zone conference last week and that was good. The food was good haha. A missionary from my batch sa MTC came in. He tore his ACL our last week in the MTC and he stayed there for another 2 months. It was really good to see him. He said to me I cant wait to get to the apartment and sleep haha and I laughed. Cause He wasn't going to sleep when he got home. You put your backs to the side and go out and later that night you get to unpack and relax. I had my member friend Brother Andy order me two belts 1 coconut belt and 1 bamboo belt. There hand made from coconut shells and bamboo trees. There is another belt that i ordered 1 carabao belt. Its kinda like a water buffalo but the use the horns to make belts. Its the thing for amerikanos to do here is to have a belt like that. Anyways We had dinner at a members house last week and there are cockroach's all over the place here. There HUGE to. There fast and if you try to kill it, it flys haha But we were eating and a cockroach was flying around. and they like to crawl up your legs so I have my feet off the ground always. Two weeks ago a cockroach crawled on to my companions shoulder and he flicked it off and then it crawled up his leg and was inside his pants and he was trying to stay calm. He thought it fell but it didn't haha we went back to the apartment and he took off his pants and it fell out and it was dead and twitching haha it was so funny. Anyways thats all the stories I can remember haha so until next week. Mahal kita
